When Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) an ordinary New York teenager, dresses up in a green and yellow wetsuit, bought on the internet, he transforms into the the no- nonsense vigilante Kick-Ass, a super hero without the superpowers. Overcoming all the odds, the eager Dave quickly becomes a phenomenon, capturing the imagination of the public. However, Kick Ass is not the only superhero out there and soon the stage is set for a final showdown between the forces of good and evil in which the DIY hero will have to live up to his name, or die trying.
