Set in an alternate 1985 America where costumed superheroes and the Doomsday Clock have been part of normal society for decades. A call to action is sent out when one of the Watchmen's former colleagues is murdered. The outlawed masked vigilante Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion only one of whom has true powers, Rorschach uncovers a disturbing and widespread conspiracy.
