Set in the futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy (Nicolas Cage) is a young robot with incredible super powers given to him by a brilliant scientist to replace the son he has lost. Astro unable to live up to his grieving father's expectations, embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with his creator.
