After two years stationed at Antarctica's South Pole research base, U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale) is anxious to get back to reality, having just served her resignation. But days before her departure Carrie is thrust into the Antarctic`s first murder investigation. As the body count rises and the mystery increases, Carrie is in a race against time to find the killer and get home before she and the killer are stranded in the wilderness.
